Julia M. Block
VMD – Practice Owner
Dr. Block graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Faculty of Arts and Sciences in 1981, receiving her B.A. in Anthropology. She went on to earn her veterinary degree in 1985 at the University Of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Block is the owner of Hamilton Animal Hospital and has been for 18 years. She is also a member of the AVMA, PVMA, and AAHA and strongly supports the SPCA.
She is an avid supporter of Royce Rescue, a nonprofit organization that finds homes for unwanted cats and dogs. She does work for the Pug Rescue and attends at least two large veterinary conferences each year to provide you and your pets with the latest developments in veterinary medicine and surgery. She enjoys spending time with her husband, David; her daughter Sarah; her two sons, Eric and Sam; her dog Eli; and her two cats, Happy and Sunny. When she is not working, she enjoys running and is an avid tennis player. She loves to read and enjoys theater and fine dining.
Judy Friedman
VMD – Veterinarian
Dr. Friedman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She has been a part-time associate at HAH for ten years.
Dr. Friedman is married to Rich and the mother of Josh and Sarah; Judy also has three pets: Shadow, House Guest, and Cosmo. When not working, she enjoys family time and camping.
Katie Bevilacqua
DVM – Veterinarian
Dr. Katie Bevilacqua was born and raised in Gettysburg, PA. Her love for animals began when Yeller, a Golden Retriever puppy, was added to their family. She first entered veterinary medicine as an assistant at the Gettysburg Animal Hospital. She earned a degree in Biology at Delaware Valley College in 2007. She attended veterinary school at Mississippi State University and graduated in 2011. While in her second year of vet school, she rescued a puppy, Strider, a Lab, Shepherd, and Boxer mix.
She has been practicing veterinary medicine in Bucks county since graduating. She joined the team at Hamilton Animal Hospital in April 2017. She has a particular interest in feline and canine internal medicine. She is also an avid and enthusiastic Flyers and Eagles fan.
